Use:
Fmoc-S-3-amino -3-(3-nitrophenyl) propionic acid is often used as a protecting group in peptide synthesis for the synthesis of peptides or proteins containing Cys residues. It can be prepared by reacting the Fmoc protection group with 3-amino -3-(3-nitrophenyl) propionic acid.
Preparation Method:
The preparation of Fmoc-S-3-amino -3-(3-nitrophenyl) propionic acid is usually carried out by the following steps:
1.3-Nitrophenyl propionic acid is reacted with Fmoc-Cl(Fmoc protecting group) under alkali catalysis to obtain Fmoc-S-3-amino -3-(3-nitrophenyl) propionic acid.
